water tank level gauge

Post by Doctor Foster »

Have got a water tank level gauge with the push button the the front. It has three wires. a red a black and a yellow wire. Im sure the water tank sender had two wires attached to it last time I looked. Anyone know how to wire these things up?

Regards

Red wire to fused 12v supply
Black wire to 12v negative (usually earth)
Yellow wire to tank sender yellow wire
Tank sender second wire (yellow) to 12v negative/earth

Hope that helps??
