Strange knocking noise

HI guys have had a rather annoying banging/knocking noise for a while now. It sounds like it's coming from under the rear to middle of the van.

Have had nearside cv joints renewed as well as nearside front wheel bearings. Garage have checked underneath but can';t seem to find anything but how hard they have looked is debatable?

It only happens when the van is in motion and only when i have my foot on the accelerator peddle. As soon as i take my foot off it stops.

Any ideas gratefully accepted.

It can still be CV joints including insufficuent grease. I had this phenomena for a while and couldn't trace it at all but I do know that if I have less weight in the van (ie cupboards out), it starts again. On mine the van seems to sit higher than others I've seen and the angle of the driveshafts may be playing a part. Knocking shock absotber?

Also check the bolts holding cv's in, i torqued mine up and within a week they had come loose. New crinkle washers and some threadlock and all is well again.

Sounds Torque related have you checked the condition of your Gearbox / Engine Mounts a poor mount will allow the whole engine to move during increases in load and possibly cause knocking.

As this only happens when the accelerator is down and not when free rolling would the lack of grease/ loose cv bolts still be the problem?

HI chaps after all that it's the other side which i replaced the cv joints on 3 years ago. Thought they should last longer than that??
