there is meant to be a brown earth wire for the fuel gauge on the front cross member -
does anyone know where it actually lives when its at home ?-
had a quick look (dark cold long day at work) this evening with torch - but couldnt see anything at all - nothing from petrol tank - no wire i could see going to cross member? -
picture or more precise location would be brill -

I took out the fuel tank a couple of days ago.I noticed a brown wire screwed to the front right cross member looking towards the rear of the van.That is above where the fuel tank was removed.
if your lying under the van head facing towards the engine - feet to the front - would the brown wire in your picture be on your right or left? - i'm assumng the fuel tanks still in place when picture was taken?

On the right, which would be the Nearside of the vehicle above the tank which was removed in the picture.
