oil treatment/semi-synthetic/mineral

Can any body let me know if the use of an oil treatment is anygood. and if mineral oil is better then semi/synthetic. my van is a 1900 dg coded 90k tappety mormaly reliable lump of boxer heaven.

i have all ways used semi synthetic 15 40 and neve had eny probs . :ok
