Has anyone ever fitted instruments in the Stereo slot?

Post by Fin »

Not man instruments or anything that would be weird!!

I'm looking at fitting a Rev counter and quite like my existing clock arrangement, so was wondering if anyone has put a rev counter into the DIN slot? I'd quite like something big Like the speedo on a mini, but that'd mean chopping up my dash.

Was wondering if this would be seen as sacrilege, and I'd get maimed at the first meet I go to, or has anyone done it on here and what el cheapo bits could I use to get the desired effect :trunk

Sounds like a good idea to me...sacrilege? I don't think so as you would only be cutting a radio blanking plate and not the dash....
Just gotta find an instrument that fits the shape.
