1.6td alternator connection wires question

I looked on the wiki but carnt find answers.The rear of the alternater for the 1.6td has the following connections W spade + spade threaded stud for heavy cable connection to + battery & close to it but isolated a smaller threaded stud which is d+ .Okay on my vehicle the wires going to the alternator are blue black&red and a heavy cable red .Can some one advice what the + spade is for .So is this correct the blue wire is for the charge light and is connected to the D+ terminal the black&red wire is connected to the W spade for the dop curcuit .

Hi camper,blue to charge warning light,red/black to d.o.p [and rev counter].
