Its time to get the van ready for many months of camping, can anyone help with some elecrtical bits.

What kinda Zig units, leisure battery, split charge etc etc is best to use? I want to have options of mains hook up and running from battery when parked up

If anyone can help...... :D

for fitting a leisure
split charge relay
fuses

as for a "zig" that's a trade name for a type of battery charger that charges your battery when hooked up to the national grid.

in the wiki are diagrams for wiring in your fridge .pumps heaters etc

I would have thought the devon has a split charge relay set up already

maplins supply the relay and the cabling, fuses etc

Maplins had a visit today.

The van has the origonal split charge system, however never had any joy getting power to it?

Will have a look in Wiki
