Interior lights not working

Just replaced both bulbs on lights that work when doors are opened , however they don't work. I've checked fuse and that's ok, any ideas? The vans an autosleeper trident, thanx for lookin

Am sure you know there is a 3 way switch (driver's door light) to turn them on w/door, off, on.
If in middle position lights will not come on. :twisted:

Thanx , I'm aware of the 3 switch, I was thinking are they suposed to work with the autosleeper having 12v lighting?

Those are the original VW van interior lights and will not be connected to the Autosleeper internal 'camper' electrics. They will be wired (via the fuse) to the starter battery. Fuse number 3 counting left to right if your van's the same as mine - same fuse as radio and ciggie lighter. The switches could be knackered/corroded; easy enough to remove as there's only one screw but take the fuse out first in case they short against the bodwork when you remove them to check.

av you checked them with ignition turned on ? mine work of the leisure battery with ignition off and startin battery whenn ignition on

Still not working with ignition on, fuse seems ok but will change anyway, the switch does look a little corroded
