Autosleeper water tank???

I have got hold of a water tank that was took off an autosleeper van, now Im just wondering how autosleepers actually plumbed it up and where they mounted the pump??? no piont re-inventing the wheel!

pump is inside the van just in front of the off side wheel arch and self priming.. originally a fiamma pump.

the tank is filled from the front (top) inlet and has a level sender

any good?

cheers buddy, does it have a drain tap on the outlet from the tank too??

mine has the drain outlet as a simple tap on the pump feed pipe not on the tank.

Mine has a plastic drain tap as (not very well) shown here:

It's a plastic affair similar to the ones you get in homebrew beer barrels.
The trouble is, it leaks, so is sealed up with sealer at the moment. I don't want to take the tank off to replace it, so I just pump the water out to drain it.

Cheers for the replys, gonna get an inline drain line Kev, and then add a extra tap on the side so when down the beach we can get water out without having to get in the van?
