The van is liveried up as Bernd Jaeger.

Perhaps he carried out the conversion?

Saw that baby at jaegers when i was there last year is a 2.5tdi conversion also has the radiator behind the rear door, a scoop on the roof feeding it and an exit pipe through where the rear window is to stop dust blocking the rad also heavily modified inside with roll bars uprated suspension (possibly seikels) etc its a beast of a thing

I saw this a few weeks ago and promptly showed everyone at home and work. Everyone thought I was weird except my 2 year old son, Max.

Its an audi tt 1.8 turbo lump in that video. Hence me asking about the BAM engine. Its the same basic engine as used in mk4 golf gti's but much much better. 280bhp 360nm according to him.

Was mainly wondering if its a common conversion. im assuming someones wacked the golf one in at some point.

He'll be asked to leave The Caravan Club for driving like that on site! If they can ever catch him that is.
