Ignition fault

Post by brandygangster »

Hi guys,

I have an intermittent fault on the ignition on starting. Every now and again you get to the starting postion on key and it just clicks, then give it a wiggle and its fine. But now seems to be more time for it to start. The last time i waited about 10 minutes and it finally started up with hundreds of tries.

I suspected the ignition switch, (white nylon one) so i ordered one and fitted it today.

It still has the same problem, any advice on where i should be looking next.

Thanks
Neil

your looking in the wrong place..
it's your starter.. it's either poorly earthed, has corroded connections, a sticky solenoid or low battery.

if you search this forum with the facility there are numerous posts covering this
