Grille Fixings

Post by hoochinoo »

My grille has been secured by the previous owner with cable ties because the clips that the fixing pins along the top edge connect to are missing. I don't think these items are available anymore so does anyone have any suggestion on an alternative way to secure the grille?

Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks!

Grille fixings? Upper grille or lower grille, assuming water cooled?

The upper grille is secured using the plastic screws attached to the grille but the lower grille is fixed using metal screws & plastic expandable fixings.
The screws/fixings fo the lower grille are available from Just Kampers. Maybe VW still sell the plastic screws for the upper grille but if not phone JK just in case they stock them. :)

It's the upper grille and air cooled. I tried Just Kampers with no luck. They sell the fixing pins but not the clips they attach to. :(

I've found another post and they're available from Brickwerks.
