It doesn't sound
too difficult. Would this technique only be suitable for filling in dents, or could you fill in small holes this way? My dad's a good welder (he'd be quite happy to do some basic repairs for me if I had a welding machine), and he's very meticulous... I bet he could make a good job of that sort of thing.
Has anyone else here had a go at lead filling? I've had a search but couldn't find any threads on it.
