Advice needed

Post by tonysbus »

Right peep's after the trouble with my engine i'm seriously considering a diesel conversion, why i hear you shout,
well i want reliability,i'm not after more power and cash is tight at the mo, so my question's are

will a 1y na diesel give me the same power as my dg petrol
What part's will i need other than the usual bellhousing , sump,en bar
what pump should be on it
the reason i am using the 1y na is because i have it in my golf and it's a sweet engine thats only done 120000
and we want the van back on the road(no need the van back)
So anyway i know there are better faster engine's out there but all i want is same power and reliable any help would be appreciated,
