As with the LPG fuel conversion, you will get your money back the more you use it and before you know it you'll be quids in.
Alternative is a leisure gas tank from Gasure, larger capacity and goes under the van so you won't loose space inside.

My ideal setup woul;d be to replace the underseat tank with an external one and get a combined fuel/leisure tank fitted under the seat. Is this possible anyone?

Now where's that lottery ticket? :ok
how come the gaslow bottle on ebay is £185 and the outdoorbits is £110.

:?
The kit on ebay includes the remote filling kit which goes on the side of the van (£75), you will need this as petrol stations go all wobbly when you remove a gas bottle from the van and start filling it up on the forecourt (not legal to do this anyway, I should think).
Congrats on your new aquisision, I will have a little look and reply to your pm later (I'm at work and peeps keep looking over my shoulder to see what I'm working on. They clearly don't have enough work to do :D ).

Another thought! Is it safer to have the Gaslow type re-fillable bottles stored in the van? ie rear wardrobe or safer to have an external underslung tank?

Either one installed CORRECTLY, there would be no safety issues, if in doubt about installation and gas safety consult your local gas safe registered engineer or ask at your local caravan/motorhome centre
