Yet again, I cant make it if its at the end of the month, as ill be away. Maybe I should spend more time in the UK, but then again maybe not! Pop a post onto Westcountry dubs forum too. Ive pm'd a few of you the link, but its here anyway: http://westcountrydubs.forumotion.net/forum.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Don't know about hardcore, but you are more than welcome to hitch a ride with me! Would be up for the meet if it's on the 23. Can't make 30th sadly
Cheers, I was aiming to persuade Dan to take his Doka as well!

Are the Cornish 'hooking up' for some 'hardcore fun' in their vans?

Re: Next Southwest Syncro Offroad Meet?
OK, plenty of votes in and fairly even but as several have said they can only make the 23rd and some of those that chose the 30th can do either (like me) I'll make the executive decision and pick Saturday 23rd January.
If the offer is still open, shall we meet at Futbus' workshop from about 0930 for tea and cakes?
I don't mind a Disco coming but there's no camping planned as most of us are relatively local.

Re: Next Southwest Syncro Offroad Meet?
hmmm...still thinking about coming down to hook up with you guys on one of the dates, syncro is running fine now however I have no "off road specific" equipment apart from a shovel and BFG A/Ts! How much equipment do you guys take when you go out, do you need all the bash plates and bull bars/winches or is it just a mellow drive about in the mud?

The standard bash plates would be a good idea!

I've got the beams that run along either side of the prop shaft, are the front and rear bash plates available still, anybody know?

Don't know what you van is but Ghia on Brickyard was selling a set for a diesel. Front bash plate may be same as petrol.
