Paul, Only had 2 myself but not had any reliability problems, even the one with the nackered engine is still running after the 180 mile round trip on the first south west outing,it seems to work ok without oil or water in! :D They are usually very reliable so dont get too fed up.
There is plenty of time over Christmas for you to check everthing after all

Thanks mate, I'm starting to make progress, have fitted new diesel spill pipes and managed to stop diesel leaking out between the spindle nut and spindle on what looks like some sort of turbo boost linked injection control.

I'd like to try and come and bring some others with me this time. Will there be a gentle option - I'm waiting to get ATs on before I do anything serious!

prefer 30th please, still have to change my engine first, and it has to be done outside!, bit chilly for laying on my back at present :(
I have been able to add some more lanes to the list around the Buckfastleigh,Ashburton,Newton Abbot areas but some would need a bit of pearing to avoid scratching the nice vans, awaiting the maps from the local lads down here at the moment.

Don't know about hardcore, but you are more than welcome to hitch a ride with me! Would be up for the meet if it's on the 23. Can't make 30th sadly :(
