water pipe burst - heater - engine bay

Hi Guys,

Just 15 mins ago the a water pipe burst. Its -7 at the moment here, so made it home easily.

Its located almost under the air filter at the top right of the engine bay.

Water resevoir IS completely emtpy.

Which pipe is this and where does it start/end?

Looking in Haynes, Im guessing at the coolant output to the Heater?

not sure, as I dont have the original, lost it on the road

Im not sure where this connects too, but if its a short hose, then both connecting ends should be near the area of the hole, right?

The 'S' shaped hose connects the right hand cylinder head towards the front of the vehicle to the black plastic bulkhead/distribution manifold jobby, this is a common hose to go due to the engine's movement and the bulkhead's lack there-of.

yep found the other hole. thanks for the tip, it is indeed the S shape hose.

Was able to get hold of a similar hose and got it fitted today, running fine so far

seems that this part has dissapeared from brickwerks, anyone seen this elsewhere, ive tried the normal places
