VW golf mk3 not T3

Post by wookey »

admins feel free to move delete etc, This isnt a t3

Chaps the winter ride is a 93 mk3 1.4 golf.

problem is that sometimes when engin is upto temp, the oil light flashes, no buzzer just flasshes a few times, If i press the accelerator it goes off.

Just wondering if anyone knows what it is? I thought maybe low oil pressure and changed the oil and filter last night. but no cam on again this morning.

Now a fair way away from home just wondering what it might be as i dont wonna be stranded in the snow.

Sorry again its not t3 but hey you chaps on here have the best vw collective knowledge :) </end kiss ass)! !

Thanks a lot in advance

I got 2 Mk 3's and I'm certain it's just a poor connection.

Mine did it when the tickover was a bit slow :ok

Sound like the pressure switch is sticking a little but a good service would help it out no end!
