Does this sound like a part number 25 1507 45 that's what I found under layers of waxoil?

The symptoms I have is when I connect it to the battery it clicks but when connected back to the loom it does nothing?
When I put fuel in the eber unit it smokes and gets slighty warm till that fuel runs out?

Does that sound like the pump or was I to fast to condem it

Yeah, my pump clicks too. I'd take out the glow plug and clean it and inside where the glow plug went, or it could be the glow plug that's knackered. You can have a look at mine if you want, although it's petrol they are pretty much the same. If it is the plug I know Simon at Brickwerks was getting some in.

Plugs new the thermo switches are new the pump doesn't seem to pick the fuel up it clicks once then nothing but, when I took the pump off and just feed fuel in it smoked but did get warmish? That's why I thought pump but I only did a bench test the eber is off and in bots, the resistance is correct within limts on the glow plug the voltage is good.
But the pump did click when connecting it just to 12 volts I thought it would whir like a normal pump not continually click so I keep jumping it of the terminals and it clicked every time. Is there a control for pump or is it an internal solenoid that tomes the fuel delivery?

It deffo just clicks. I only tried mine off the van although I've put it back on I've not connected all the bits up properly. I need to soon I think, although after my BFG next week! I found that I had to change the wires round on the pump to get it working - I'm colour blind as you like and I couldn't make out a + or - on the pump. Also, the pump has to be tilted slightly, I think it's at least 15 degrees. I think it's to help the fuel "pour" in for the pump to spit it in with every click. When I checked mine I held the pump practically vertical and just poured a cap of fuel into the pipe. Check also no air lock in the fuel pipe. I have got an Eber manual on my PC, but unfortunately the one in the UK and not Germany.

well after all the advice i tried again today and it worked well on the bench i had to adjust the fuel delivery as it was working but not squirting so i a little fiddle sorted that out a fresh battery on a little puff of smoke and ta da she works got really warm outside the cowling now just to put her back in some new fuel line a new filter and hopefully away we go.

dubstar dont know if you have seen the weather we have got tem inches on friday so you'll want your eber then.

BFg, like i said stay with him when he goes round your van he's a right tit.

Nice one Phil. Yeah I believe we're gonna get it bad at the weekend so you're right, I really should get it working properly. I bought some Eber steel flexi hose just before I came over but it's too big, so I need to fix that first, then connect the exhaust and pump back up. And deffo I'll be staying with him while he has a look. I'll be giving it a good wash first, especially the engine, as it's a bit leaky!
