Rear heated screen

Post by eatcustard »

Can anyone help on this please

I have a rear heated screen fitted, but not connected.
Whats the best way to find out if it works, as there is no electrics running to it.

Direct from battery to the connectors on the screen, will that work or will I blow my self up?

and Merry Humbug to you all :ok

IF it's like mine it will consist of two (I suspect ) elements. There is a spade connection each side of the tailgate and a small hole below each for the screw for the earth(s). You can check the continuity of each element with a basic multimeter between each spade connector and the bodywork. That just leaves you the problem of wiring them up.
