T3 early/late calculator
How do.
I got bored of people not being able to work out if they had early/late parts on their T3 when buying parts.
I spoke with Andrew and he has built this..
It's not complete yet, it's in beta stage, just after some feedback as to what works and what doesn't.
Have a play here
It will be on the Brickwerks webshop when finished.
Let us know what you think..

Re: T3 early/late calculator
I think there are some syncro issues with pressed/cast bottom arms.
Anyone check see if they get the right bottom arms?

Re: T3 early/late calculator
just done ednas it says late for some bits but it was early as stated at the bottom, but that should also include early arb links and radius rods for clarity and so they order right links, so maybe a if graz then its a syncro ignore this bit of recode ?

Re: T3 early/late calculator
mines an 87 It says built dec 86 graz. At the bottom it says pressed lower arm which is correct. does this mean that arb and links are early as well?

Think 2WD is pretty much sorted, 4WD needs work!
'87 model year goes from aug '86 to july '87, so thats correct in what it says.

Re: T3 early/late calculator
yeah, think I'm going to have to split the 2wd and syncro bits up when inputting the vin number - too many variables...

Andrew has had a furtle with the gubbins, have another try and see if it is more accurate now.

Re: T3 early/late calculator
ok a bit clearer it says common fuse box but doesn't state late golf type and I'd still spell out that pressed lower control arms also means non handed type arb link since that's what peeps might buy and are you going to include the early late engine break point too, not many early 1.9wbx about but a couple including one I service cos he's a tightwad and won't go over the hill

Re: T3 early/late calculator
We will get that changed.
We were trying to keep it simple, and with info that was universal to all models, petrol and diesel, didn't want to clutter it up with irrelevent stuff like stupid early petrol cooling systems nonsense, but if a jobs worth doing...
It may be worth adding a few questions first to go with the chassis number like is it 2WD or 4WD, is it Petrol or Diesel to make the results more concise and not to clutter quality Diesel results up with useless petrol info....
