slding door fixed window query

Post by jake1953 »

When fitting a fixed window to a panel van, how is the inside finished off?. Do I fit a fibreglass surround as is used on the offside panel behind the driver or what?

There is a proper rubber extrusion which covers the cut on the inside and then bridges the gap to the outer skin and window seal.

Ian
are these available for general panelvan conversions or is it a case of waiting for a van being broken?
It's good to know though that as gti mad man says that it can be generally trimmed with whatever taes your fancy.
Thanks for the replies guys
