getting key codes

after months of waiting still don't have a key for the new project does anyone know where we can find the nos so we can order some its on a sika have looked in the bentley but only says the locations for the sliding door handle ?? or are we missing something

The key blank you need is 'N' and there is a chap on ebay who can cut them for you if you provide the 4 digit number and the blank type. He did a couple for me in Nov OK and they arrived within the week. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-POLO-TRAN ... dZViewItem.

I got mine from the slider, but I guess its the same for the cab doors. Took me 10 mins to remove the door trim, undo the door handle, pull out, clean, read 4 digit code off the shaft, regrease and reassemble.

the number is also stamped on the fork of the driver and passenger door locks if they are original too, on the inside on the edge of the actual fork that opens the lock, but they can corrode and be illegible, you've no gttee they are correct, failing that swap out the dokas
