It looks like it's got a slightly "purplish" overtone to the graphite. I'd go for the Dagenham Dustcart colour swatches. Looks a bit Sapphire Cossie to me!

P.S. Do you do the paint yourself Damien? I'll be talking to you in the New Year about Diamond Silver...

I need my eyes testing - of course it's a recent VW colour
This could work out well. Some panel repairs booked for January with a mate, just got a mint replacement tailgate from spannerboy (well chuffed) along with that roof for my pop top madness
Will have to get over to your works and "feel the width".
Cheers,

PS Got a text from my mate about the 1.8T K series - he's getting keen...

I know you're all sorted now but purely as an observation about the picture.....the pink colour cast is on the photo and not the paint....you can see the tarmac also has a pink tinge to it as well. :ok
Probably have some colour ballance option set incorrectly in the camera's menue.

That picture brought back memories of an original (some might say proper) Beetle I restored many years ago. I sprayed it silver metallic and when finished it reminded me of a barrage balloon (young readers ask Granddad what is one of those) so I re-sprayed it in Roots Electric Blue. It looked much better after that. Not suggesting that your one looks like a barrage balloon by any means.
