Doing that is fine but it won't get in all the box sections and inner sills. It really needs spraying in..happy camper wrote:Done mine myself buddy got under there with a paintbrush and gave it all a good going over after i'd wire brushed any flakey off only took a couple of hours

Re: Waxoyle
Got mine done 6 months ago, much better to be sprayed on as it gives a more complete coverage. Manchester Air Cooled do it for around £100, they'll only do it on a dry day.
You can by a drum with a spayer for around £20 for both. I think it'd cost loads and be a ball ache though. However for doing small patches/doors/arches etc its great.

Don't forget to warm it up this time of year, or you will clog your nozzle, and we don't want a clogged nozzle do we???

Re: Waxoyle
Gandalf, I'd recommend that you do it yourself - that way it will be done to your satisfaction. I would also recommend using Dynax S50 from Bilt Hamber http://www.bilthamber.com/dynaxs50.html. It is a little more expensive but it seems to be superior to Waxoyl.

Re: Waxoyle
Warming up waxoyl is best done by putting the container in a bucket of very hot water. softens it a treat.
