Bracklesham/Witterings is good for surf couple of hours either side of low tide, if your board is long enough.
Does anyone know of any in Devon, near or on beaches? Saunton area would be good.
I'm new to this side of things so if there is a guide or something to be pointed too I would appreciate that as well. Looking forward to some weekend holidays through the winter.

I dont think Saunton Sands car park is manned during the winter, it never used to be but I havnt been down for a couple of years, We used to stay late on into the night in the summer and no one complained, I am lucky enough to have a mate who owns some land in croyd over looking the bay so am hoping to use that a bit, failing that lobb field camping just down the road towards Braughton is a good site, showers and electric hook up, should be cheap during the winter months and people who run it are nice.texasuk wrote:Bracklesham/Witterings is good for surf couple of hours either side of low tide, if your board is long enough.

Hello,
We went to danmark a few years ago, And there we actually drove on the beach. And there was alomst no one. It was winter
So if you can drive there, maybe you can park there and stay for the night. I dont think during the winter someone will go out and look for you.
Just dont know how high the flood does go.
So take a boat with you and an anker.
Greetings from Robert
