findable when you put the effort in! posting on here is a good start. do you want to build one?have one built? or get one already on the road that is solid and road-worthy? a good one should cost a lot of money( people on here want them brilliant and working for next to nothing) no offence to them but this seems to be true! we work/drive/repair/ and rebuild them every day in life. i know i paid £750 for a solid one with a seized engine and a little bit of rust but totally complete and drove 700 miles round trip to get it. i know that by the time it will be finished it will cost 3k not including labour. not many will part with 4k plus for a totally workable solid single cab but not many would admit that if they bought a cheap rhd single cab and worked on it over 2 years spending every other month what they could hide from the wife that this would be close to the figure they actually paid! my one is still here the same way i bought it,give me a call or mail with your wish list/thoughts and i can see what i can help you with? cheers ian 07732098577 :ok

Hi Ian,
I have spoken to you a couple of times and you were always honest enough to say if you don't need the syncro just get a normal T25 due to the spend on parts!
I have a 2.1 singlecab right now and it's my daily workhorse but I'm moving house and will be commuting further so need a diesel. So as I'm ambitous I said to myself if you're going to have to sell the van you love why not go for the van you'd like so the syncro idea popped into my head and so here I am.
I am not sure of the mechanics but I have considered a LHD and converting it to RHD as realise RHD syncros are few and far between.
So really I'm throwing myself at the mercy of luck over judgement and seeing what comes up really.
Thanks for the input so far and hoping to hear more if there's one out there for me.... A.

Now that is a difficult thing to do as the bulkheads are very different plus the insurance implications

HI there. I am selling my RHD Syncro Single Cab JX Diesel due to having just purchased a RHD Sync. double cab. Single cab has: Twin diff locks, fully working. 125,000 miles and good mechanical order. Only one previous owner (a farmer, judging by the amount of hay in the treasure chest!) Bodywork not great, but totally usuable. Mostly original paint (Burgundy). 11 months mot and 5 months tax. Great as a daily and off-roader, but wont win any beauty awards :D Matt. Will try and post pix later.

Hi, I got one I use. It is in pretty good shape. It is well capable of being used as a daily driver. Front and rear lockers may be ok(not seized), I did try to engage them when I first got It, but they didn't come in. I have had it for a couple of years and I originaly bought it to access a green field site I got a contract for, but It all went bandy. I put a new head and a brand new Turbo on it and it can only of done 10k since. I have two other crew cabs(one of them syncro) and the War Dept has been making noises. Call if interested 07956597677. This truck is not advertised, but after seeing the post . . . .

When i was looking for my doka i put a wanted here and got exactly what i was asking for, even the colour. If you try and find one solo it will be hard at least on here someone might know someone who knows someone etc. Like Ian says, no such thing as a cheap van and believe me i just found this out when buying a Syncro camper. Its in Syncronutz now having a new engine conversion and gearbox along with a few other bits and bobs.

Good luck with the search :ok
