evening all,

starter for 10 ............. when i turn the ignition on, the battery warning light appears and stays on until ive run him down the road. Why, tell me?

Have changed the battery so its full of beans, but still the same warning light ?????????????? :?:

faulty wiring
Faulty alternator
Slack alternator belt.
Without seeing it and using diagnostics pick any one
(a small clue its easiest to check the last one) but my money is on number 2 probably the brush pack maybe the reg.

yep all the above

belt is the first.. Nice and tight?
wiring to the alternator in good order .. nothing broke?

ok now does the light go out when you rev it above 2000 rpm (or just revving it)

If not, regulator on the alternator (cheap - under a tenner I think)
