Try Glyn woods, Brick-Yard people seem to be getting the best deals out of them at the moment, seem to know what they are on about too.

Glynwoods seem to be the best..... and they know what they are talking about! Search Adrian Flux on here if you want to know other people's experiences.

Re: Syncro Insurance
just got off the phone to Steve at Glynwoods, super helpful, it looks like I am going to be paying around £380 fully comp on limited mileage....nice to deal with a human being directly rather than suffer the hell of piped music and being shoved from department to department

Re: Syncro Insurance
Seems a tad steep to me. I have 20yrs on a bike and insured my 2.1 DJ Syncro with no 'no claims' for a car but a clean licence for £192 through Hearts insurance brokers with a T2OC discount. That was with unlimited mileage and parked on road overnight.

Yep 08451290290, FYI my renewal this year was £180. Don't accept there 1st offer ask them if they can better it and you will pay in full there and then. Thats what I do and they always better it.

if they can't give you the best price straight away then they can f o in my book, lying cheating scum, and I tell them that if they do that...
I don't give my customers an inflated price and then revise it downwards when they winge so why should one accept that it's what insurance brokers do,b*******s; if they do that at quote time you can be sure when it comes to a claim you'll get shafted too

Re: Syncro Insurance
seems to be a fine line between what constitutes a camper or a transporter. Everyone is quizzing me about "will I be overnight sleeping in it" and to be honest I will be, probably day sleeping as well knowing me. I just got a rotten price from HIC on the grounds I own a van (transporter) but hey presto, if I mention the words "rock and roll bed" and "table" it becomes a camper in their eyes and the price could be halved.......wonder what happens if I say "off road rough camping"
gotta pop out now!!

Re: Syncro Insurance
Hi Aidan. I know what you are saying, you or I wouldn't dream of overinflating prices to our customers but we are talking about insurance compaines here and their first offer is never the best they can do. we negotiate the price for the insurance on the workshops and vehicles every year to get the best deal its just the way it is with them.
Then again you are talking to the guy who won't even accept the price tag on a pair of Jeans in Next and talks the price down at the till
