clock is optional no matter on the year!
have a look to see if you have one or 2 oil pressure switches, this will determine if you need the buzzer circuit inside the speedo.
the blue pcb track is dependent on if you need it or not!

Looking at the pics (hard to tell) but have you got a nut missing on the temp gauge? Might be the pic but looks like one missing from the voltage stabiliser side and essential for the gauge to function. As Billy says, clock not an issue so dash is ok!

i changed mine over cus the pcb board was broken on mine mine had the dash pod with the analog "cock" then replaced it with like the one you have without any problems my van is a 89 model the only thing that i thought was different was the connection for the speedometer ,

low oil pressure....between 3 and 4 behind the push rod protection plate (tappet feed).
High oil pressure...front of engine below the water pump and behind the engine mount (oil pump pressure)

Many thanks for all the advise, I have had a good crawl under the engine and can not find any sign of the high pressure switch or any wires leading to that area so I would say I only have the single pressure switch.
while I have the unit out I have just checked the bulbs as they also are not working when I put the headlights on but they are all ok, I have also checked the connections on the rear of the temp gauge again all seem good.
I am still concerned that the rear of the pcb has had a section cut out and the way the wiring has been modified ( but not made to match all the pins on the rear of the clockset). I think my best bet will be to change the clockset rather than change the wiring to match the clockset. But thanks to everyone's help I now know I need a late model unit without the high pressure buzzer.
Now all I need to do is find one.
