spluttering and jerking whilst driving!!!!!!
I have a 1.9 water cooled petrol and recently the old girl has started kangarooing and spluttering when driving along. She starts up fine and ticks over nice but soon as you drive along, she doesn't seem like she is firing on all cylinders. I have changed the plugs and dizzy and still the same.I reckon there could be a fuel blockage somewhere, What do you reckon guys???

Mine did this but only when you got up to speed. Basically not enough fuel getting through when its needed. Agree, check the main filter, AND the hidden one tucked inside the brass fuel inlet pipe on the carb. Mine was crudded up, acting like a restrictor. Lived with it for a while as it actually kept my speed down
You need something like a self-tapping screw to gently coax it out. Its invisible otherwise.

My thoughts were along similar lines - if you are jerking while you are moving along, then no wonder you are spluttering! And don't do it anywhere near schools or built up areas!
(I hadn't posted this 'coz I thought you wanted a serious reply, but since happy camper started it.....
