Aircon
Have searched forums and Wiki but could find no definitive answers. Is it possible to retrofit a/c to a T25? Vehicle is a 1990 2.1 inj Trooper with no PAS. Please, no 'wind down the window' suggestions, the air in S. France and Spain is often hotter outside than inside in the summer.

Re: Aircon
yes it is possible
I have a customer Derek who's just done this to his syncro, but he doesn't seem to be on here, I'll ask him for some info.
Check the vanagon forums in the states you'll find they do it
there are various aftermarket systems, but you can also pinch a system off a car and make it fit, there's quite a bit of space under the dashboard if you remove the old heater box.

Re: Aircon
Thanks for your advice Aidan. I thought that it must be possible to take a car system, such as the components out of a Golf or Bora and fit to a T25. I would prefer a discreet, underdash installation rather than the overhead fitting used on US vehicles. The problem is I don't know where to start looking for the right bits that will fit and make a neat installation. Obviously there has to be some front-to-back piping to link the compressor to the evaporator. I thought someone must have done it before in the last 20 years and have some basic information. If you can advise further, or anyone else can, I would be grateful.
