Hi, does anyone know where i can purchase a fuel pump for my 1981 , 1970cc , Aircooled

Yeah i did read all them posts, i just thought i'd try my luck and see if anyone had a good one sitting about?

I guess thats the way to do it then, nothing is ever easy is it ! i didnt think i'd have much trouble finding parts etc... but i have been proved wrong, i thought owning American cars was bad enough but i find its more difficult finding the correct parts for these vw's , even ht leads , got sent the wrong ones 3 times and thats from a vw specialist.

God it sounds like im on a right downer :lol:

Not giving up though, i love the old girl too much

Maybe there Is a Mexican a/c mech fuel pump available.

Although my van is fitted with a rebuildable pump, the kit to rebuild mine is about £12. It depends on what type you have.

i doubt they have them tbh. ac ones went obsolete ages ago.

i would fit a facet one and be done with it.

as for poor parts service....

They have them in stock as i enquired about 1 before looking at my pump and seeing it was rebuildable.
