Not just bottom corners - top corners too. Stand on a chair and take a peek. Just did mine. It works in from the top off the roof when you're parked and trickles behind the seal, ending up on cab floor. It sure can leak at bottom corners but usually takes driving rain/wind to force its way at the bottom. At the top it just runs in :shock:

The only way to fix it in the end. Just using a rubber seal as VW did was a little on the cheap if not optimistic side, although to be fair, they've gone on far longer than other 80S designs. The silicon sealant at the top edge and top two corners seems to have stopped the leak for now but I see that more as an over-winter measure and accept that the long-term solution has to be to pull the screen and sort it.

I'll feel a bit happier if I can lay my hands on the seal with the insert though as I'm trying to preserve the Caravelle look as much as possible. Chickenkoop and I will do a 'how to' WIKI and video on this when we get warm weather again, although much of what Pepperami showed on rebuilding rusty window openings covers this. https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... ding+guide" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just sealed up 2 vans (including urs Kentishvanman!) and I sealed up from the top edge around 6' or so and down the sides and really pump it into the bottom corners and along again 6 inch or so. Jus done this to one of me own vans and it still leaked soooooo pumped it in the gap between the actual glass and rubber - that sussed it! :ok
Thats PEET as in FEET!!!
