What camper conversion have i got?? (with pics)

Post by kendall »

Hi all, just got this and i will giving it an all over make over but i'm not sure what type it is. It was sold as a Devon, but it doesn't have the roundy type cuboard doors so im guessing it's not. Can anyone confirm what it is? Also does anyone have one, as i've got some queries about the electrics.
Thanks, Simon

The exterior and pop top certainly look 'Devony' as do the front seats, but I don't recognise the interior. May have had the original furniture replaced?

Interior looks like a Holdsworth Villa, especially the cooker/sink. Handles on cupboardsare slightly different, maybe another era or swapped?

its an early holdsworth interior
these had a badge on the interior(inside the cupboard behind the drivers seat and were simply badged 'richard holdsworth'

but basically the same as the holdsworth villa, possibly the nicest interior you can get in a rhd t25!(my opinion of course)

Ar, thanks for clearing that up for me. Make alot more sense now. The interoir was my favorite bit. TBH the pics make the exterior look better than it is, but nothing too bad, all of which i'll be sorting over the winter. Still cant decide on a colour, i hated brown  , but it is growing on me. :| Looks like i'll have go go following wires to work out what the random dash switchs are for, (one goes to a relay next to the battery, then dissapears behind cabinets??) and the power unit and 240v plug only have power on hook-up, is this normal?

Same colours as mine. I didn't like it at first either but it grows on you. I love it now and wouldn't change it.

I liked camping so much I went full time.
