Oil leak coming from the top pipe next to oil filter

Hi All

First of all Hello to everyone here and thanks for all the useful tips on this site. I've been using this site for a year and a half now and this is the first time I've actually needed to post anything as I've always found the answers I've needed.

Anyway my problem at the moment is that i have and oil leak from the top pipe on the left hand side of the oil filter. I've circled it in red in the picture.



Can anyone send me in the right direction to fix it myself.

If your van is a diesel, thats your Turbo oil feed pipe, try gently tighting it up with a 17mm spaner, failing that that undo it and wrap a bit of ptfe tape round it and refit or order a new pipe and unions from Brickwerks for about £28 I had the same problem with mine but at the other end of the pipe where it fixes to the Turbo.. Yeah it is a diesel. I should have mentioned that in the post . doh!

I'll have a look at trying those things tomorrow.
