Me to for the HOW TO as I've been toiling over the same problem of fitting a snorkle to my Doka.
And how to keep my MV2.1 engine running in deep water as I have already had a couple of river crossings when touring in the Highlands last month...........

This is what we have done,
We ran this system when went to the Pyrennees with Clive and Jenny, Clive had to clear his out and ours was fine even though we followed them eating their dust.

E D I T on this photo Deutz!

so even with this amount of mud and water everything is fine.

Failure to ensure your air box is watertight can lead to...

... luckily no damage was caused, Just ran 'like a camel'

I was going to ask where you got that from. I could do with one of them for the sahara

You ain't having it back! It does work though. TBH, fit the fine particular filter and that would be a mustard filter.
Failing that back to the good old fashioned oil bath...

i love the big filter mounted in the treasure chest, i've got a "donaldson" unit and i think i'll do the same,
behind the left rear light i have a thing bolted, looks like a centrifugal filter, the intake points towrd the vents behind the chest door. this thing is not connected to the air intake, theres a big pancake filter on top of the turbo.
