Replacement Water pipes 1.9DG Balancer pipe

Post by KSTonyT25 »

Hi,

First post here, just recently bought a T25 a few months ago, since doing so replaced the rusted pipes that run front to back to eliminate one water leak.

However my problem lies at the next leak. I have noticed water collecting on the engine mount bracket, when looking down on the engine (1.9 Petrol DG) its to the left hand side, next to the waterpump.

The pipe in question is what i can only describe as cylinder block water balance pipe between heads. As said next to the water pump, behind the crank pulley, around ~15mm pipe, flanged pipe from LHS bending tight on itself behind the crank pulley, with a rubber hose connecting to the other metallic flanged pipe going to the other side.

Ive since bought a CD hoping to give me the part number for the pipe in question with no success.

Also Justcampers know the part and have had many queries for the part, im just wondering if anyone knows:-

- The part number
- A Supplier who's currently selling them
- Or who else to try?

Kind Regards

Tony

Early water system ... most (if not all) hoses and pipes are obsolete so you'll need to place a wanted ad and hope one of the club's breakers is mauling an early van.

Welcome to the club btw :ok

Cheers for the advice,

They're much better than most 25 year old vehicles, they have their peculiarities but once you bottom the existing issues service it regularly and get saving for that next big bill.

As for the advice ... there's nowt on a T25/T3 that one of us hasn't broken before
