Holdsworth poptop

Post by robobobo »

Hi poptoppers, can anyone give me advice on a holdsworth villa mk2 poptop. It has the canvas/plastic sides.
I have owned an autohomes solid sided poptop which i found to be excellent, unfortunately this was damaged on a rough ferry and was replaced with a copy of a westy top in okehampton. I found that to be a bit small and missed not being able to pull the bedboard out from above the cab plus much colder than the bulky but cavernous autosleeper

Now i am planning to fit a poptop to my tintop van and have the opportunity to purchase a holdsworth villa top in good condition. Just wanted any recommendations or otherwise on this roof. Is it spacious enough for adults, can you keep bedding up there with it popped down ( sounds daft but could leave all sorts of gear in the autosleeper with the top down, very handy with duvets and pillows)
Do the canvas/plastic sided ones have opening sides or windows. ?

any advice would be welcome

Cheers
Rob
