HI all, i need a new starter motor for my van. which ones will fit and how much ? (bloody van)
1982 1.6 ct air cooled.. :idea

ALREADY exhausted that route !(otherwise i would not be posting) wondered if it was unique to that engine.

Are you sure the starter has failed? more often than not it's the solenoid that goes... these are common to many starters and if that has failed then you stand a far better and cheaper chance of getting the existing one sorted :ok

I paid £65 for a starter for the CT last year.

That was from a local motorfactors
