new to t25, water tank probs

Post by leesoya »

Hello all, I have filled up the water tank for the sink tonight (with cleaner) I was expecting the water to come back out thewater filler cap when full. BUT the water came out of the water tank almost as if there was an overfill pipe??? Is that so or do i have a leak?? also the water meter does not work and the set button.... although i am confused how to operate both. is there a seperate fuse for that meter??

thanks for help, i have a 1991 vw transporter, trooper auto sleeper.... thanks

leigh

Welcome.

Is it not possible to see where the water is coming out from underneath? Poss split in the tank??? perished hose?? Gonna have to get under there. Remove tank and refill to find the leak. If its anything like our 1986 autosleeper then its just a couple of brackets to remove to get tank out.

the sender is a resistance type with no fuse.
remove the unit and scrape off the limescale it should work then
first check the wiring is in good order and power is at the test button by removing the control panel
