Mer - think thats what its called. in in a blue bottle. I spent eveings using T-cut and it still looked awfull. I thought I'd just finish it with Mer and it came up a treat in seconds.
If really realy dirty use Muck-off first. You can buy it in mountian bike shops.

T-cut is a cutting compound (and not a particularly good one). Mer is a mildly abrasive polish.
I'd go for whatever my mate used when he cleaned my caravan (he didn't say what it was but it's mineral-based). He just wiped a little across the roof then rinsed it off, removing built-up grime and moss instantly, no rubbing required. Amazing. But then he is a professional cleaner.

that sounds like what ive been talking about acetone,to test get some nail polish remover and clean a area ,this is based on acetone and will work
obviously you will need loads and is easier to buy a tin and use a brush

Re: What to use to clean white fibre glass roof???
My advice:
I used Cif (Jif) to clean my Westy pop top over the weekend and it came up clean an brilliant white. Just a bucket of warm water, Cif abrasive cleanser and a hand brush. Rinsed it off with a garden hose. It cost my £1.23 from my news agent. Looks like brand new.
I don't think I would bother with anything else if something as cheap as Ciff works this good.
Just thought you all might find this useful.
Thanks

No, not really. I only cleaned the roof this past weekend and was just so pleased with how clean the roof looked that I searched the forum for a discussion thread to post my feedback rather than starting a new thread.
