Camper Side Sliding Window Problem
Anyone know who stocks replacement window channels. It's knackered and the rattling is getting on my t*ts! The camper is a Leisuredrive conversion. Thanks!

Is it the felt channel you're after? I got mine from Seals Direct and they'll send you a sample next day if you ring them. Product code FWR 148. http://www.sealsplusdirect.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
MIne is a standard van with factory fitted windows, but they may do one to fit if yours is different.

Try this:
The web site is great to find the part numbers required.

I got loads of samples for my Leisure Drive and none fit. They all made the sliding window too tight to slide.OriginalSeries2 wrote:Is it the felt channel you're after? I've still to pop round to the place in Wigan that made the window according to the makers plate on the frame.....last time I checked they were still listed in the yellow pages.
And I'm not sure vagat is any good for non-factory window parts

Three companies that are well worth contacting for seals:
Leisure Vehicle Windows http://www.leisurevehiclewindows.co.uk/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Phoenix Supplies 01884 849294
Woolies Trim http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Good luck - it's well worth sorting it out.

Re: Camper Side Sliding Window Problem
I have the Caravelle with siiding windows and the biggest prob I find is that the cutouts in the frame that the catch slots in to, round off making it rather too easy to gain access from outside. For now have followed the bay boys and dropped in cut-to-length dowel to stop window being opened but would love a solution other than replacing entire frame.
