Eberspacher 7-Day Timer - Info/Manual?

Ay up,
I've got a non-working B1L in the van that has not been operational since I've had it (that will be my next 'post'). I've got the manual for the the heater but I'm struggling to find one for the 7 day timer. The timer model number (printed on the rear) is 25 1482 74 00 00 and looks like the attached image.
There are 2 sets of 3 wires (6 in total) coming out of the 8pin connector on the rear of the timer. The 3 that go in to one connector block are the red, yellow & brown (I presume these are live, switched live & ground respectively)? However, the other 3 wires that go into a connector block are not connected to anything, the wire colours are black, grey & blue. I presume the answer will lay in the timer wiring diagram. Any clues, tips or links greatly appreciated.

Blue is for diagnostics
Grey is to to vehicle light dimmer switch
Black is power for continuous operation.
Red is power from battery
Yellow is Switch control to heater.
Brown is negative from battery.
This timer is usually used for coolant heaters - the air heater ones have a heat dial on the right.

Did you mean b1lC? That most probably why I have a different pic to what you have!

It's not the B1LC (Compact), it is the B1L with the seperate Control Unit mounted near to the heater. Can the timer be used/adapted or intergrated with another controller for the B1L or do I have to bite the bullet and source a timer with 'Temperature Control'?
(The Doka was originally from Sweden, that may be why it has the timer for a 'Coolant' heater and not an 'Air' heater???)

If the controller is the one with the different heat settings you may not need the thermostat but if you want to add one see the wiring diagram and it tells you which wire to cut to insert it. (it's a yellow one by the look of it) I would leave it until it is all up and running fully before worrying about it.

That timmer will turn my D2L on and off but that's it.
Interesting Rick, I wondered why it didn't have a dial on it.
Another £40 wasted,bought that from Gunzle at Vanfest too.

Finally got a suitable pump and the B1L fired up first time . So now it's phase 2 -> Regarding the previous conversation, I appear to have the 'Coolant Heater' Timer rather than the 'Air Heater' Timer, i.e. no Temperature set.
The question is, am I better off buying a new 'Air Heater' Timer with temperature set or would it just as effective to buy a stat and wire it into my existing 'Coolant Heater' Timer?
Does the 'temperature set' dial work like a stat or does it just run the heater at different heat levels, i.e. low, medium, high?

If you use the room thermostat method you will be stopping and starting the heater a lot leading to greater battery usage. (the glow plug will have to start up each time), I am not sure if the timer with the control knob varies the heat or not - even though I have got an eberspacher one of them fitted to my Webasto in my van! I just use it with the knob turned up full all the time.( I can't remember how I wired that one up)One day I will check it out but honestly haven't felt the need to turn it down but then I don't have heating on when I am asleep so just use it for as long as I am about in it . For the minimal amount of fuel that they use it seems just as easy to leave it running as it is - if it gets too hot crack a window open a bit!.
I don't think that the old b1 etc. have the electronics in their brains to regulate the fuel and fan to give lower heat outputs - not sure though.

Sorry to jump on the thread, I have just fitted my eber it fires first time but it only stays on for 15 mins (approx) and the van doesn't get that warm it just about takes the edge off.

It's a house type thermo set to 7 any ideas the model s a B2L?
