Little Red Key????

Hi, I was wondering if any one knows what the little red key/knob is for

It has westfalia stambed on it but haven't found a home for it on the bus yet and only having a german owners manual, I'm a bit stuck. If anyone happens to have a spare owners manual for and 89 and/or the california supplement would be cool

If it has Westfalia on it, it must be part of the conversion, not the base vehicle.
Could it be the water filler cap?

I haven't come across anything like that, but I know what you're getting at. It's a standard grey westfalia camper interior.

Yes I do and I've not taken any notive of it cause I thought it was just a towbar. You're going to tell me different though aren't you VWcamperfan

I might yes...!

You should find a detatchable tow bar on your van. Put key in, turn 90 degrees and it will come away from the rest of the towbar frame. Makes things nice and neat!

Well I searched around the tow bar and found nothing, so I assume it's not a detachable one.
