eber help
I have started wiring my eber up, I have fitted the BT controller that came with it, do I need a thermostat as well?
I tried downloading some of the eber stuff in pdf downloads but it wouldn't open, has anyone got a manual for the BT style 7 day timer?

Re: eber help
no you don't need a thermostat , the bt one hour timer is a reostat (sp) , basically wire it up , turn it up full for a few minutes til it roaring to itself , then turn it down to whatever you require normally about 2 or 3

Re: eber help
Is that this 7 day timer - part no. 22 1000 30 36 00 or 22 1000 30 40 00 ?
If it is the 40 00 version the thermostat is built in.( the other is for a coolant heater)
I have the manuals if you need them.

Re: eber help
I have found a copy of the manual on the web, its a 701 timer, does this mean anything to you.
I am trying to have my eber so that I can turn it on when I want, but also so that once it is powered up, if the temperature drops overnight it would automatically kick in to a preset temperature, is this possible, and if so how?
I currently have the eber wired only to a 701 timer, should I need to wire to anything else?
Apologies for the long questions, but until I am happy that all wiring is run in I can't proceed to the next step of gassing the hob etc. up. (because the worktop needs to be in its final fixed position for this)
All help greatfully received.

Re: eber help
Looking at the info on ebers website, if you have the 701 10 003/103 model the temperature ramp is operative but if you have the 701 10 007 model the temperature ramp is non-operative (this one is for coolant heaters). The operating instructions are here http://www.eberspacher.com/downloads/te ... _20391.pdf
