Night heater (Eber.) - Not under the rear bench tho!

Post by Yozza »

Ay up,
I've got a Eber heater on the way, and the plan is to install it for some winter camping missions in my homebrew camper. However, the traditional location for these heaters is under the rear bench seat. However, I've got a 70l gas tank in there!
I was thinking about fitting it under the van, but I'd like to know if any of you good folks have alternative suggestions? Anyone else had this dilemma?

You can fit it in the passenger footwell under the glove box. That's where I've just put mine.
Martin.

Diesel is an engine not a fuel.

I liked camping so much I went full time.

Thanks for the info and the pic. Didn't consider it under there, but that looks a very tidy solution. Was the install fairly straight forward or are there any hidden nasties that I should know about?

Thanks for the 'heads up'. Another related question. Does anyone know where I can get the Tee for tapping into the fuel line? I think the size needs to be something like 10-6-10? (It's Petrol Eber).

the biggest issue mounting it under the glove box is , as R0B said, keep the washer pipe away from the zorst.
