All T25's (petrols) had electronic ignition as standard.. and it works very well.. If you have points, its eithe a beetle/bay dizzy or an 009 (which aint the greatest and need carefull setting up as they have an inherent design problem)
I am sure there is a member or 2 on here with the correct electronc "CT" dizzy, they will part with..

YES .. i have points,1,6 ct lump, going to send my carb of to gower and lee of watford for a full refurb and re jetting, thought doing a electronic conversion as well may give my 1982 tin top a world of good ....what do you all think ?

As I just said.. refit the std system..
the Std dizzy will have the correct ignition curve and vac advance..
