Its suppose to be a 1.6td but is it? Just noticed this number on the side,1.9 DI does it mean its an aaz?

This is the engine
i thought it must be a 1.6 td although it might have had something different in it before, look at the oil cooler type thing on the left that doesnt seem to be connected to anyting and the hose along the top of the engine bay that is blanked off

Valve cover isn't 1.6td, the valve cover vent is not routed as it should be on a 1.6td, that blue thing in the corner ain't supposed to be there either and the alternator also is different ...that's what i can see at first glance and without pics to compare

Have you got yourself a TDi engine with a mechanical pump conversion and the blue thing in the left hand corner might just be an intercooler of some sort perhaps a water to air type?
